John R. Martin

John R. Martin, age 38, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, after a lifelong battle with addictions. He was born on February 7, 1985, in Iron Mountain, MI, the son of August Martin and Susan (Cole) Higgins. He valiantly fought and struggled to rise above but sadly lost. John loved to tinker and rebuild any kind of electronics. He loved all of his children with all his heart. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, and collecting his treasures. He loved his furbabies.

Survivors his mother, Susan M. (Chad) Higgins; the love of his life Sherri Lynn Martin; all of his biological and nonbiological children; his siblings, Terri K. (Dan) Weichelt, Theresa A. Raschke, David S. Martin, Rachel L. (Trevor) Quarrel, Jamie (Kevin) Webber; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his twin brother (his womb mate), Tommy; his brother, Francis. Rest and thrive in Valhalla John Martin.

Public visitation with respects to the family will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
