Adeline A. Lefeber, 90, formerly of N8809 Gladstone Beach, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Villa Loretta Nursing Home, Mt. Calvary where she had been a resident the past 5 years. She was born on June 21, 1917 in the Town of Empire, the daughter of Albert and Mildred Braford Sabel. On January 31, 1940 she married Leo Lefeber at St. Patrick's Church, Fond du Lac. Leo preceded her in death on March 13, 2007. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Peter's Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, flowers, crocheting and she was a great mother. Survivors include her ten children, Leo (Margaret) Lefeber, Van Dyne, Donald (Marilyn) Lefeber, Mt. Calvary, Robert (fiancé Cheryl) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, David (Ruth) Lefeber, Cassville, Thomas (Kathy) Lefeber, Kiel, Mary Lou (Robert) Blattner, Fond du Lac, Laura (Gary) Elonen, Kiel, Joseph (Sheri) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, Jerome Lefeber, San Diego, CA, Linda (fiancé Trent Staerker) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mildred Rowe, Fond du Lac, Caroline (Robert) Schmitz, Dotyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Albert and Gilson Sabel, one sister, Agnes Freund.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac with Rev. Camelo Giuffre officiating. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
