Agnes Mae Breitzman, 92, died peacefully on March 16, 2022 at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac. She was born April 3, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles W. and Harriet G. (Landreman) Fisher. She graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School in 1946. On June 10, 1950 she married Jack Breitzman and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1997. She was a legal secretary for over 50 years to many attorneys, including many years working out of her home while raising her children. Agnes owned the Mecan River House a Bed & Breakfast in Richford, WI for over 20 years. She was a member of the Shara-Gardners of Wautoma (which is a part of the Wisconsin Master Gardeners). She was a lector and communion distributor and also led the congregation in singing for many years at St. James Place in Neshkoro. For six years she was on the council for St. James Church. Agnes was a member of the Waushara Chamber of Commerce, Coloma Business Association, Coloma Historical Society, WIN (a networking group from the Chamber of Commerce), Waushara Outdoor Women, an Associate of the Sisters of St. Agnes, Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association, and participated in many exercise programs in Wautoma.
She is survived by five children, Karen (Keith) Peterson of Mount Ida, AR, Allan (Linda) Breitzman of Homer, AK, Joel (Julie) Breitzman of Mosinee, Sue Peckham of Fond du Lac, and Jean (Dave) Nadolne of Pleasant Hills, CA; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Harriet Weisenberger; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; son-in-law, Steve Peckham; siblings, Gladys (Oscar) Marggi, Marian (Bruce) Kettenbeil, Bill (Marie) Fisher, and Sr. Joan Fisher; and brother-in-law, William Anderson.
The visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
