Alan C. Castrodale

Alan C. Castrodale, 67, formerly of Fond du Lac, and currently a resident of Broomfield, CO, died on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Exempla Lutheran Hospice in Wheat Ridge, CO. He was born October 2, 1943, in Hinsdale, IL, the son of Rayner E. and Ethel M. Owen Castrodale. He graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1965. Alan was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1965 to 1969 in the Mediterranean Theater. From 1978 to 1989, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mercury Marine. During this time, he met and married Krystine A. Sullivan on September 10, 1993 in Mayville. While in Colorado he was president of Life Loc Technologies from 2000 to 2010 in Wheat Ridge, CO. Alan enjoyed traveling, boating, reading, and loved water skiing. Surviving is his wife, Krystine, a daughter, Lynn (Tom) Drewicz of Waukesha, WI, three sons, Mark (Shannon) Castrodale of Oregon, WI, Tyler (Lisa) Gusse of Cushing, WI, and Adam (Kim)Gusse of DeForest, WI, and five grandchildren, Miles, Kyle, Jordyn, Amy, and Jenny. He is further survived by two brothers, Dan (Edith) Castrodale of Rochester, MN, and Woody Castrodale of Portland, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Alan C. Castrodale will be on Saturday, June 25, 2011, from 9 to 12 Noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon at the funeral home.
