Alberta R. Mangan

January 15, 1916 — July 1, 2012

Alberta Rose Holzman Searl Mangan, 96, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Kindred Hearts. She was born January 15, 1916 in the Village of St. Cloud, the daughter of Henry and Della Kraemer Holzman. She married Willis Searl in 1935 and later married Lewis Mangan on May 3, 1974 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1996. Alberta was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church and its church quilters group. She was a member of the American Legion, Linettes Dance Group, Fond du Lac Senior Center, and the Red Hatters. Alberta was an avid golfer, loved dancing, enjoyed Christian women' group, bible studies, and church activities.SURVIVORS: five daughters, Patricia (Gary) Rudolph, Lois (Ronald) Kautzer, Ginny (Tony) Ferdinand, Beverly Searl, and Debbie (Ron) Kemp; eleven grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; five step children. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers and sisters.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 11 AM "“ 1PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. David Redman officiating. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to Kindred Hearts and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion given to Alberta and her family.
