Alfred F. "Al" Huberty

Alfred F. "Al" Huberty, 71, formerly of 601 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at St. Agnes Hospital. He had been a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past 1½ years. Mr. Huberty was born July 28, 1933, in Fond du Lac, a son of Irvin J. and Marcella Buss Huberty. On May 5, 1963, he married Joan A. Nelson at St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. He was a member of Church of The Presentation in North Fond du Lac. Al was formerly employed by Mercury Marine for 26 ½ years, retiring in 1990. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving from 1953 to 1957. He was an avid hunter and gardener, and loved sitting at his computer.Surviving is his wife, Joan, a daughter, Jackie (Joe) O'Boyle of Oakfield, a son, Blaise Huberty of North Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Justin (Erin) O'Boyle of Fond du Lac, Jesse (Carla) O'Boyle of Sheboygan, and Johanna O'Boyle and Jennifer O'Boyle, both of Oakfield, Aleasha Huberty and Carissa Huberty, both of North Fond du Lac, and three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Braedon, and Morginne. He is further survived by his mother, Marcella Huberty of Fond du Lac, a brother, Irvin Huberty Jr., of Greendale, four sisters, Janet Huberty of Fond du Lac, Joan (Martin) Hermans of Cape Coral, FL, Pat (Harvey) Zehern of Fond du Lac, and Mary Joselin of Redwood City, CA. His father preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Alfred F. "Al" Huberty will be on Monday, April 11, 2005 from 10 am to 1 pm at Church of The Presentation-North Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 pm on Monday at the church. The Rev. John Simon will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
