Alfred H. Jensen, 81, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Harbor Haven Nursing Home. He was born April 29, 1930 in Pine River, the son of Russell and Alice Chase Jensen. Alfred was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. On October 11, 1952 he married Nila M. Beggs in Berlin and she preceded him in death on November 30, 2002. Alfred worked for Giddings and Lewis for 34 years retiring in 1995. He was a former member of Eagles Aerie 270, the Oldsters, and volunteered for Hospice Hope. He enjoyed traveling, walking, cleaning guns, was an avid hunter, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: three sons, Gary (Debra) Jensen, Rosendale, David (Renee) Jensen, Fond du Lac, Jeffrey (Chantal) Jensen, Sarasota, FL; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Jensen, Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Jen) Jensen, Brandon; a sister, Barbara (Bill) Dreckgrah, Berlin; a sister-in-law, Faye Hoffman, Winneconne; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nila; a son, Bruce Jensen; a granddaughter, Jessica Jensen; a brother, Clayton Jensen.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9 "“ 10 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine River Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
