Alice Elizabeth Marcoe, 77, formerly of 419 Wisconsin Ave., North Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday, November 07, 2005, at Hospice Home of Hope, with her family at her side. Alice was born on Feb. 16, 1928 in Cudahy, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary Kruger. On June 29, 1946, Alice married her soul mate, E. John Marcoe at St. Fredrick's Church in Cudahy. Alice was a member of the Holy Family Parish, where she regularly attended church, until she could no longer. Alice's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She was a homemaker for many years. Alice loved shopping, knitting, sewing, and spending time with her family. Alice is survived by two sons, Jack (Marilyn) Marcoe of Neenah and Michael (Sylvia) Marcoe of Hewitt; five daughters, Mary (Brad) Renderman, Pamela (Gary) Stark, Deb (Dave) Moore, Christine (Dave) Stephany, all of Fond du Lac, and Shannon (Ron) Roen of Bellvue, Nebraska; 22 grandchildren, Megan (Jesse) Matuszeski, Eric and Patrick Marcoe, Christopher (Jen) Renderman, Tracy (Kevin) Pfalzgraff, Allen Renderman (fiancé Jessica Schroeter), Philip Renderman (special friend Katie Stubbe), Lynnette Renderman (special friend Chad Voeller), Nick (Melanie) Stark, Liza Stark (special friend Jeff King), Jennifer, Heather, Rachel (special friend Spc. Justin Venne), Dana (special friend Gerrad Kibbel), David (special friend Nikki Martinez), and Mac Moore, Kimberly and Ben Stephany, Ariel and Chelsea Marcoe, and Matthew (special friend Andrea Gabriel) and Alyce Roen; 7 great-grandchildren, Zachary and Sarah Renderman, Faith Pfalzgraf, Hannah and Nolan Stark, and Lexi and Kyle Stark. She is furthered survived by two sisters Mae (Carroll) Surges and Janet (Earl) Thompson all of Fond du Lac; one brother, Dennis (Marie) Kruger of Cudahy. Also surviving are two sister-in-laws, Beverly Pitchford of Fond du Lac and Dorothy Kruger of Milwaukee, and one brother-in-law H. Robert Marcoe (Joan) of Fond du Lac; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband E. John Maroce, on Dec. 12, 1992, a sister Dorothy, a brother Fred, and two brothers-in-law, James Pitchford and Carl Jones.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2005 at Holy Family Sacred Heart Parish. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Alice was a caring and loving person. She left an imprint in the hearts of all she touched; she will never be forgotten.
