Alice K. Huebschman, 66, of 871 S. Main Street, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at St. Agnes Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1940, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Michael and Bertha Moss Ketten. Mrs. Huebschman was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. She was formerly employed by St. Agnes Hospital and prior to that, Motel 6 for many years. Alice was a lifetime member of Home League of the Salvation Army. She loved collecting stuffed bears and cats, and enjoyed growing plants. Surviving are two daughters, Ellen Carlson of Watertown, and Lisa (Todd) Dykstra of Rhinelander, a son, John (Angel) Huebschman of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She is further survived by four sisters, Nancy (Peter) Fisher of Marshfield, Linda Pierce of Fond du Lac, Helen (Ken) Huelsmann of Fond du Lac, and Rosemary (John) Sabel of Dotyville, a sister-in-law, Susan Ketten of Fond du Lac, an uncle, Alan (Dawn) Moss of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her parents, a son, Michael, a brother, Nicholas Ketten, a brother-in-law, Huey Pierce, and a nephew, Kevin Pierce, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Alice K. Huebschman will be on Friday, February 16, 2007, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home.
