Alice M. Pittl

Alice M. Pittl, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born January 24, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Hilda Rock Lemke. In 1953 she married Neal F. Pittl in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death in 1957. On May 2, 1958 she married David A. Pittl at Assembly of God in Fond du Lac. She worked at the YMCA in Fond du Lac for 25 years, retiring in 1995. Alice was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, her dogs, and watching the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Wisconsin Badgers, and Nascar.SURVIVORS: her husband, David; three daughters, Patti (Roy) Asmus, Pickett, Jodi Pittl, North Fond du Lac, Polly (Kevin) Whealon, Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Benesh, Shane (Melissa) Asmus, Sarah Whealon, Maxwell Whealon; two great grandchildren, Samuel and Addison Benesh. She is further survived by three siblings, William (Joan) Lemke, Lloyd (Betty) Lemke, Marilyn (Gordon) Zoch, all of Fond du Lac; one sister-in-law, Carol Lemke, Fond du Lac; one brother-in-law, Robert Georg, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Neal; four siblings, Laverne (Jack) Papenfuss, Marvin Lemke, Patricia Georg, Wesley Lemke.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Inurnment will be held at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Alice's name to the Hospice Home of Hope are appreciated.
