ALICE P. FROOKAlice P. Frook, age 90 formerly of 83 East Follett Street and a resident of Grancare Nursing Center since December 10, 2004, died Thursday, February 3,2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. Alice was born on December 4,1914 in Colby, Wisconsin the daughter of Conrad and Anna Tesmer Orth. On April 18,1936 she married Walter F. Frook in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in July 1952. Alice was employed with the Sharpe Clinic for 26 years as a receptionist and bookkeeper. She was a member of Holy Family St. Patrick's Parish for over 50 years, and a past member of the Altar Society. Alice enjoyed fishing, bingo, gambling, football, and loved her children and grandchildren.SURVIVORS: daughter, Jo Ann (Jerald) Hohler, North Fond du Lac, son, David (Joyita) Frook, Odessa, FL, five grandchildren, Julie Neefe, Ripon, Joseph Hohler and his fiancé Wendy, Las Vegas, NV, Anthony (Martha) Frook, Shawnee, KS, David W. (Ronda) Frook, Paddock Lake, WI Tina (J.) Smith, Land O'Lakes, FL, nine great-grandchildren, brother, Joseph (Doris) Orth, Lakeland, FL, sister, Jeanette Chamberland, Mount Vernon, IL. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
VISITATION: Saturday, February 5,2005 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, February 5,2005 1:00 P.M at the funeral home and at 1:30 P.M. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family-St. Patrick's Parish. Reverend John Radetski will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery.Memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
