Alma RothAlma Roth, 81, formerly of 617 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Monday, January 31, 2005, at Grancare Nursing Home. She was born September 29, 1923, in Larimer, CO, a daughter of Fredrick and Pauline Paul Meisner. On May 3, 1947, she married Garhart Roth. He preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Roth was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. Alma was formerly employed by Wells Manufacturing for over 30 years. She was involved in several bowling leagues. Surviving is a son, Ronald (Diane) Roth of Vancouver, WA, a granddaughter, Stephanie of Seattle, WA, three sisters, Elsie Strehlow, Betty Hall, and Barbara Dailey, all of Fond du Lac, a brother, Eugene (Betty) Meisner of Tucson, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her pet shih tzu, Poppy. Her parents, husband, her twin brother, Albert, a brother, Jerry Meisner, and two sisters, Mary Reich and Helen Williston Schumacher, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Alma Roth will be on Thursday, February 3, 2005, from 3 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Friday, February 4, 2005, from 9:30 to 10:30 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 4, 2005, at 10:30 am at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev.
