Aloha J. Fields, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, November 17, 2017 at ManorCare Nursing Home. She was born October 15, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Harvey and Leona Heller Petznick. Aloha graduated from Goodrich High School. On May 30, 1950 she married Ferman J. Fields in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2004. Aloha worked as a private secretary for the Vice President of Reuping Leather and Damrow Company for many years and also owned and operated Oscar’s Tavern alongside her husband Ferman. She was an active member of Church of Peace and served on the church council for six years and was a member of the Noon Optimist Club. Aloha enjoyed crafting, going out to eat with friends, quilting, needlepoint, and was an excellent seamstress. She dearly loved and was proud of her family.
She is survived by two sons, David (Debra) Fields of Oshkosh and Donald (Judy) Fields of Keshena; five grandchildren, Brandon Fields of Las Vegas, Amber Travis, Michelle (Jason) Kramer, Alex Fields all of Oshkosh, and Luke Justinger of Sheboygan; five great grandchildren, Dominic, Arianna, Jaida, Adalyn, and Easton; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ferman; one sister, Marjorie.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Jennifer C. M. Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
