Alvin R. Greene

Alvin R. Greene age 84 a longtime resident of the Town of Fond du Lac passed away, Monday, August 4, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services where he had been a resident for a number of years. He was born April 2, 1924 in Clackamas County, Oregon the son of Lloyd R. and Violet F. Rose Greene. As a young man growing up Alvin hired himself out to many farmers in the area. In 1948 Alvin began working for Fred and Helen Supple and their three sons, Robert, James, and Tom on their dairy farm in the Town of Byron. After Supple's retired Alvin worked for their son and his wife, James and Patti Supple on their dairy farm in the Town of Fond du Lac. In 1989 Alvin retired. He will be always remembered for his love of animals and kindness for those who knew him. SURVIVORS: Alvin is survived by three sisters, Myrtle (Howard) VandeSlunt, Waupun, Laura (John) Streblow, Fond du Lac and Arlita Maas, many nephews, nieces, and the Jim, Bob, and Tom Supple families. Alvin was preceded in death by his parent's infant brother, Melvin, brother, Clyde, and two sisters, Alpha Kollman and Audrey Wiegel and Fred and Helen Supple.



Memorial services will be held on August 23, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Jim & Patti Supple's at N5256 Country Trunk V, Fond du Lac, WI.
