Alvina Johnson

Alvina Johnson Alvina Johnson, 96, of 173 21st. St. in Fond du Lac died Wednesday, February 09, 2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. Alvina was born September 20, 1908 in the Dodge County, a daughter of Ernest and Martha Brunn Witt. On March 2, 1925 she married Erwin Johnson in Waukegan, IL. Alvina worked for John Deere in Horicon for many years. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her great-grandchild, and going to eat at Schreiners. Survivors include one daughter; Elaine Wehde of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren; Wendy (Robert) Marten of Fond du Lac, Mary (John) Richter of Chilton, one great grandson; Justin Marten of Fond du Lac, one sister; Edna Pieper of Beaver Dam, and one sister-in-law; Mary Witt of Waupun. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-in-law, one brother, and two sisters.



Visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 from 9-11:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Lieske officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon. Memorials in Mrs. Johnson's name may directed to Hope Lutheran Church. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
