Ambrose A. "Andy" Sabel

Ambrose "Andy" A. Sabel, Sr., 79, of Fond du Lac, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at home with his family at his side. He was born April 14, 1933 in Malone, WI, the son of Leo and Josephine Sabel. He married Marilyn M. Roen on January 26, 1952 and she preceded him in death on April 14, 2007. Andy worked for Woodruff Roofing for 33 years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with his family and after retiring he enjoyed spending mornings at the Oasis Restaurant and Kwik Trip with his friends. SURVIVORS: four daughters, Karen (Jack) Beesley, Fond du Lac, Hazel (Joe) Marx, Fond du Lac, Darlene Heffner, Fond du Lac, Deb (Tony) Palkovich, Fond du Lac; seven sons, Ambrose "Buck" (Beatrice) Sabel, Jr., Fond du Lac, David (Joan) Sabel, Green Bay, Alvin Sabel, Fond du Lac, Jim (special friend, Deb) Sabel, Fond du Lac, Dan (Carol) Sabel, Fond du Lac, Terry (Chris) Sabel, Fond du Lac, Jerry (Kris) Sabel, North Fond du Lac; 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Genevieve McAllister, Green Bay; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Marilyn; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; one son-in-law; one granddaughter; one great grandchild and one nephew.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 "“ 11 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating.
