Anita E. SchwartzAnita E. Schwartz, 92, formerly of 517 Luco Road, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past three months. She was born August 2, 1913, in Bute des Morte, WI, the daughter of Herman and Amelia Kottke Pommerening. On October 14, 1936, she married Ralph M. Schwartz at Grace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Mrs. Schwartz was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a very active member of the Gleaners Society. Before her retirement she was employed at Edith's as a bridal consultant. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling. Surviving is her husband, Ralph, a daughter, Judith Ludkey of Prospect Heights, IL, a son-in-law, James Flaherty of Fond du Lac, and three grandsons, Paul (Jody) Ludkey of Arlington Heights, IL, Christopher (Ann) Flaherty and Dwight (Jessica) Flaherty, both of Fond du Lac. Six great-grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew Ludkey, Amber and Autumn Flaherty, and Summer and Shaelyn Flaherty further survive her. Preceding her in death were her parents, a beloved daughter, Kyle Flaherty, a son-in-law, Lloyd Ludkey, and a sister, Mary Jane Walgren.



Visitation for Mrs. Anita E. Schwartz will be on Sunday, June 4, 2006, from 1 to 3 pm at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 3 pm on Sunday at the church. The Rev. Jon Cox will officiate and private family interment services will be held on Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery, Town of Blackwolf, Winnebago County.
