Ann K. Zimmer

Ann K. Zimmer, 78 of Van Dyne, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at All About Life Rehab Center in Fond du Lac. She was born in Forestville, Wis. on October 7, 1939 to Henry and Elizabeth (Blahnik) Meister. On August 20, 1960, Ann married Ralph Zimmer in Maplewood, Wis.



Ann loved all things outdoors. She was an avid gardener and had a real heart for animals. Ann enjoyed reading and loved working with people, especially while she was employed at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac.



Survivors include her husband, Ralph; 4 children, Sally (David) Hilt, Lee (Amy), Theresa (Dan) Burgert and Laura (Chris) Galow; 4 grandchildren, Josh (Sarah) Zimmer, Elizabeth Hilt, Ben Zimmer and Michael Hilt; her brother, Gilbert (Ruth) Meister; nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Fischer.



Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eldorado will follow the services.
