Anna M. Krug

Anna M. Krug, age 89, of Fond du Lac, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1928 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Martin and Anna (Guldan) Freismuth. On May 6, 1950 she married Daniel J. Krug in Fond du Lac. A loving wife to our Dad and a kind, compassionate mother to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We were blessed to have such an amazing woman in our lives. She was a friend to all and was always ready to listen and give comfort to anyone in need. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and a contagious laugh. She was a woman of great faith and showed this by word and example of how she lived her life.



Survivors include her husband, Daniel J. Krug of Fond du Lac; eleven children, Cathy (Jim) Schroeder of Fond du Lac, John (Nina) Krug of Sun Prairie, WI, Barb (Jim) Rickmeyer of Fond du Lac, Lynn (Pat) Fox of Fond du Lac, Linda Gustavus of Fond du Lac, Mary (Bill) Draheim of Plymouth, WI, Paula (Bob) LaVigne of Broomfield, CO, Betty (Terry) Fritch of North Fond du Lac, Ann Krug of Dallas, TX, Patty (Dan) Waas of Lomira, and Jan (Mike) Streetar of North Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Megan (Alex) Bielinski, Mike (Amy) Schroeder, Jill (Greg) Staerzl, Matt (Robin) Schroeder, Julie Schroeder, Andrew Krug, Tom (Greta) Rickmeyer, Bobby (Danielle) Rickmeyer, Jenny (Chris) Rodrigo, Amy (Matt) Zoschke, Jacob LaVigne, Jeremy LaVigne, Rachel (Tom) Mielke, Sarah Abhold, Luke Waas, Ally Waas, Sam Streetar; great-grandchildren, Emily and Evan Schroeder, Samuel Staerzl, Rylee Schroeder, Inga Rickmeyer, Olivia Rodrigo, Jonah, Ian, and Micah Zoschke, Kate and Zoe Mielke; one sister, Betty Freismuth of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Rosemary O’Hearn of Fond du Lac; she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel L. “Danny” Krug; her brothers, Don Freismuth, Marty Freismuth; sisters, Virginia Freismuth, Angie Miller, and Dolores Chmielewski her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Walter and Helen Krug; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.



Visitation will take place on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 1-3 PM at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family Parish, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM at the church. Cremation will follow the service and private interment will take place at a later date at St. Charles Cemetery.
