Anola M. Hagedorn

November 16, 1930 — May 6, 2013

Anola Mae Hagedorn went to be with Jesus peacefully in her sleep with her daughters Heidi and Linda and grandson Isaac by her side on Monday May 6, 2013 at the Woodlands Senior Center in Fond du Lac. She was born on November 16, 1930 in the town of Veefkind, Wisconsin near Spencer and was the daughter of Melvin and Hilda Tews and married Clarence Hagedorn on June 25, 1949.Anola loved her family, her grandchildren, her relatives and her friends but most of all loved Jesus. Her life was a living testament to the beauty and glory of His love. She was one of the first members of Hope Lutheran Church where she had been an active member for 63 years and helped to found New Beginnings, a shelter for young single mothers. Anola helped her husband Clarence begin his accounting business which was eventually acquired by Schenck and also worked in real estate in the Fond du Lac area for many years. She was an avid Sheepshead and Bridge card player and loved playing with her card club friends for more than 60 years. She is survived by her four children and eight grandchildren, son, Scott (Alexi) Hagedorn of Crystal Lake, IL and granddaughters, Amy, Ashley and Brooke; daughter, Linda (Paul) Higdon of Elkhorn, WI and grandsons Lars and Nils; son, Randy (Barb) Hagedorn of Mayville, WI and granddaughter, Brittany and daughter, Heidi (Peter) Jundt of Lawrencville, GA and grandsons, Isaac and Lucas. She is also survived by her step-mother, Margie Tews of Marshfield and step-sister, Ginger (Dan) Mrotek of Aripin, WI. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence, her parents Melvin and Hilda Tews and her sister, Jeanne; an infant son, Ronald and grandsons, Jacob, Samuel and Benjamin Jundt.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 "“ 7:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. Jon Christensen officiating. There will be no visitation on Saturday at the church. Entombment will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Hope Lutheran Church or New Beginnings in Anola's name.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
