Anthony J. Smurawa

Anthony J. Smurawa, 63, of W7336 Townline Circle, Town of Eldorado, died September 15, 2010, at the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham, AL. He was born January 30, 1947, in Green Bay, the son of Anthony E. and Loretta M. DeGroot Smurawa. On October 3, 1980, he married Marlene Klatt in Michigan. He was an over the road truck driver for over 35 years, and was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is further survived by three brothers, and three sisters. His parents and three sisters preceded him in death.



Graveside memorial services will be on October 4, 2010 at 1 PM at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery Garden of Valor. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Disabled Veterans C/O Glenn Sanville 87 N. Peters Ave. Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
