Arlene M. Zills

Arlene M. Zills, 72, of Eden, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born May 13, 1934 in LaCrosse, WI, the daughter of Ben and Mathilda Bassett Holz. On October 13, 1951 she married Marvin R. Zills at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour, Fond du Lac. Arlene worked for Friday Canning Company, Eden for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and quilting for the church.SURVIVORS: three children, Larry (Mary) Zills, Murfreesboro, TN, Greg (Lynn) Zills, Fond du Lac and Wendy Zills, Eden; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen (Sandy) Holz, CA, Bill (Bonnie) Holz, Ada, WI and Howard (Cleo) Holz, Milwaukee; one sister, Bernice Krause, Sheboygan Falls; one step-brother, Clinton Holz, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin on January 16, 1995 and her parents.



VISITATION: will be from 11am "“ 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Church of Our Saviour. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 on Wednesday at church with Rev. David Redman officiating. Entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Wisconsin Diabetes Foundation.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
