Arlene S. Preissner, 70, of Fond du Lac, went home to be with her Lord unexpectedly Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwuakee, WI. She was born March 4, 1942 in Stockbridge, WI, the daughter of Jacob and Veronica Schmitt Schneider. On April 23, 1960 she married Ronald A. Preissner at St. Mary's Church, Chilton, WI. Arlene worked for Red Owl, Farrell's Country Store, and retired from Sears in 2004. She enjoyed painting, gardening, going to rummage sales, taking their car to car shows, going up north to the cabin, playing bingo, going to the casino, and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.SURVIVORS: her husband, Ronald; three children, Tom (Vicki) Preissner, Wautoma, Lonnie (Sherry) Preissner, Fond du Lac, Connie (Carl) Schwibinger, Plymouth; five grandchildren, Eric Preissner, Jessica (fiancé, Joel Hoffman) Preissner, Carly Preissner, Jacob Preissner, Jovianne Schwibinger; two great grandchildren, Cohen Preissner and Rylee Hoffman; five brothers, Clarence (Eileen) Schneider, Chilton, William Schneider, Fond du Lac, Fritz (Chris) Schneider, Crivitz, Harold Schneider, Mt. Calvary, Gordon (Sharon) Schneider, Brillion; one sister-in-law, Kay Schneider, Chilton; four brothers-in-law, Melvin "Putz" Lisowe, Chilton, Jim (fiance, Ruth) Preissner, Brothertown, Alvin (Evelyn) Preissner, Pipe, Robert (Rosanne) Preissner, Calumet; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eugene, Leo and Alvin Schneider; two sisters, Lorraine Lisowe and Elsie Rahmer.
VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday at church from 9:30 "“ 11 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM at Holy Family Parish, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac with Rev. Robert Stiefvater officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
