Arno E. AlbrechtArno E. Albrecht, 78, of 233 E. Bank Street, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at his residence. He was born May 7, 1926, in the Town of Eldorado, a son of Edward and Verona Henke Albrecht. On November 29, 1947, he married Bess James at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran in Fond du Lac. Mr. Albrecht was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Nekimi, and enjoyed attending weekly services. He loved his children and grandchildren. Arno was formerly employed by Ed Pick Heating as a furnace technician. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Bess, two sons, Scott (Fiancé' Linda Bodoh) and Terry (Jane) Albrecht, all of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Tonya, Tony, Tyler, and Emily, and two great-grandchildren, Damian and Jayden. He is further survived by four brothers, Robert (JoAnn) Albrecht and Edward Albrecht, all of Van Dyne, Riene (Kaye) Albrecht of Oshkosh, and Dale (Pat) Albrecht of Fond du Lac, three sisters, Luella Schumacher of Fond du Lac, Lois (Vernon) Thelke of Ripon, and Carol Albrecht of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends including his former daughter-in-law, Deborah Kohlmann of Fond du Lac. His parents, two brothers, Dave and Wilbur, and two sisters, Holdina Koudal and LaVerna Albrecht preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Arno E. Albrecht will be on Friday, February 25, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Saturday, February 26, 2005, from 10 to 11 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Nekimi. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 26, 2005, at 11 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Nekimi. The Rev. James Reiff will officiate and burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church parish cemetery.
