Arthur F. Schmidt

Arthur F. Schmidt, age 81 of 490 Western Avenue, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1922 in Fond du Lac the son of Frank and Mary Hall Schmidt. On June 5,1946 he married Lucille Huskey at Fond du Lac. Arthur was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for the State of Wisconsin Division of Corrections. He was a member of Holy Family- Sacred Heart Parish, Knights of Columbus Council #664. Arthur enjoyed fishing and going vacationing with his grandchildren.SURVIVORS: wife; Lucille Schmidt, Fond du Lac, son; James (Sandra) Schmidt, Fond du Lac, daughter; Denise (John) Tobin, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren; Christine (Christopher) Herman, Michael and Elizabeth Schmidt and Melissa Tobin, two sisters; Kathyrn Schmidt, and Joan (Robert) Marcoe all of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Margaret.



VISITATION: Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 3-7 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday, March 22, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home and 10:00 A.M. at a Funeral Mass will be held Holy Family-Sacred Heart Parish. Reverend Patrick Heppe will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum.
