ARTHUR J. KLOETZKEArthur J. Kloetzke, age 77, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on July 17, 1928 in North Fond du Lac the son of Arthur A. and Julia Palkovich Kloetzke. On October 27, 1949 he married Dolores B. Roschinko at Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on November 12, 2000. Arthur was in the Merchant Marines serving at the end of World War II and later served in Army Aviation in Vietnam. He served for twenty-two years in the Armed Services. He later worked for Wisconsin Power and Light retiring in 1972. Arthur enjoyed gambling, fishing, woodworking, hunting, paint by number sets, and he loved his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: three children, Annie (Jerry) Resop of Fond du Lac, Don (Kathy) Kloetzke of Brownsville, Yvonne (Paul "Boomer") Koll of Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Shannon (fiancé Cory Nitz) Groff, Savannah (Chad) Brotherton, Travis (special friend Sara Reckelberg) Kloetzke, his mother, Julia Kloetzke of Fond du Lac, one brother, John (Janice) Kloetzke of Mt. Calvary. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Don and Edward, two sisters, Patsy and Barbara, and one grandson, Chad Groff.
VISITATION: Tuesday, March 7, 2006, 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, March 7, 2006, 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Douglas V. Hedman officiating. Entombment will be at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside services. Memorials appreciated to Hospice Home of HopeUecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
