Arthur J. Palkovich

Arthur J. Palkovich, 79, of 428 N. Military Road, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at his home. He was born June 5, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the son of Alex and Julia Piros Palkovich. On February 25, 1950, he married Dorothy C. Resop in Fond du Lac. Arthur served in the US Coast Guard, and the United States Army. He retired as foreman from the City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works. Arthur enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; daughters Mary Jo (Richard) Smith of Appleton, and Linda (John) Magnuson of Madison; two grandchildren, Nicole Smith of Houston, TX, and Neil Smith of Appleton; two sisters, Julia Kloetzke of Fond du Lac, and Annie (Roy) Combest of Clear Lake, CA, and a brother, David (Connie) Palkovich of Fond du Lac. Nine brothers and sisters preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Arthur J. Palkovich will be on Thursday, January 3, 2008, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Private family burial services will be held on Friday at Estabrooks Cemetery.
