Audrey B. (Snyder) Krug, 77, of Fond du Lac, passed away at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born February 18, 1936 in Campbellsport, the daughter of Luther and Leveda Green Snyder. Audrey married her Sweetheart, Love of her Life and Husband of 54 years, George Henry Krug Sr., at the Church of Peace on July 10th 1954. She was a graduate of Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, and was an avid cook and baker who worked for both Lauer's Restaurant and Rolling Meadows Retirement home. Audrey loved her home, her family, her two dogs, Buster and Ernie, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and sewing. She was a long term member of Church of Peace and recently attended Community Church of Fond du Lac. She will forever be missed by her family and the many people who knew and loved her.Audrey is survived by her beloved children, George "˜Butch' (Vickie) Krug of North Fond du Lac, Rodney (Jeanne) Krug of Fond du Lac, Melvin (Judy) Krug of Brandon; and two daughters, Linda (Randall) Palkovich and Renee (John) Webb, both of Fond du Lac; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, whom she loved and enjoyed very much; and two brothers, Orville Snyder, Neshkoro and Harland Snyder, Fond du Lac. Also surviving are two very special friends, her neighbors, Chris and Scott Denslow, whom she loved as family. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Krug Sr.; one son, John S. (Keriann) Krug; her parents; eight brothers, William, Melvin, Elmer, Floyd, Luther, Leon, Harvey and Albert; and one sister, Florence.
Visitation for Audrey Krug will be on Thursday, December 26, from 4:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac and also on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. Services will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend David Mundt of Community Church officiating and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Audrey's family wishes to thank 911 Dispatch, First Responders, Fond du Lac Fire Department, Fond du Lac Police Department, the staff of the ER, the staff of the ICU, the hospital Chaplain, and the staff of Hospice Home of Hope for their excellent loving care thru a very sad and trying time. Thank you for all the kind and loving compassion you showed us in Audrey's final hours. Through our sorrow in losing Audrey, we know every life has a plan; the map is in God's hand. Every day has a step, although we don't know it yet. Audrey gave us love, she taught us strength; and though she is gone, she is in God's hands. Mrs. George H.
