Audrey J. Higgins

Audrey J. Higgins, 74, a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born the daughter of George C. and Sophie A. Jaber Wonser on November 12, 1932 in Fond du Lac. Audrey married David Arthur in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1971. In 1974 she married Russell Higgins in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed playing cribbage, sheepshead, listening to country music, shopping and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandson.SURVIVORS: one daughter, Carol "Kelly" (Gregory) Collien, Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Collien, Jessica Collien, Jennifer Collien and Joshua Collien; one great grandson, her "treasure" Keegan; three brothers, George "Bub" (Junko) Wonser, Fairfield, CA, Mark (Emma "Moe") Wonser, Fond du Lac, Gerald (Barbara) Wonser, Dubuque, IL; two step-brothers, Kim (Sue) Koshnick, Fond du Lac, Carl (Rebecca) Koshnick, Las Vegas, NV; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, David and Russell.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday at Lamartine Cemetery.
