Audrey L. Krueger

Audrey L. Krueger, 93, died Monday, September 4, 2017 at the St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born in Oshkosh on July 16, 1924, a daughter of Raymond and Ella (Smith) Cross. On July 21, 1945, she married Harold Krueger in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1989.



For 21 years, Audrey and Harold were proud owners of the original Pizza Hut in Fond du Lac.



Survivors include 1 daughter, Sharon (Steven) Young; 4 sons, Steven (Lori), Michael (Cheryl), David (Katrina) and Kenneth (Ann); 11 grandchildren, Paul (special friend, Debbie) Rutz, Amy (Rob) Leigh, Lacey (Andy) Dillie, Lonnie (Becky) Krueger, Casey (Amanda) Krueger, Chad (Amanda) Krueger, Emily Krueger, DeAnna (Todd) Koplien, Brian (Amy) Krueger, Logan Krueger and Nicole Krueger; 8 great-grandchildren and twins due in December; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents, Raymond and Ella; a brother, Dexter Cross; and a sister, Marion (Ralph) Emerson.



Private funeral services will take place on Friday, September 8, 2017 with burial in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering in her memory will be held from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Friday September 8, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac.
