Audrey L. Peterson

Audrey L. Peterson, age 73 of Fond du Lac, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on January 6, 1937 in Wheeler, WI the daughter of Martin and Mabel Holton Giere. On April 11, 1959 Audrey married Russell R. Peterson at Menomonie, WI. She was as a dietician and cook for Rolling Meadows Nursing Home and later worked at Model Laundry. Audrey was a member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran. She devoted her life to her family.SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, Russell Peterson, Fond du Lac, seven children, Tammy (Jim) Warner, Rosendale, Beth Muldoon, Fond du Lac, Linda (David) Sonnenfeld, Fond du Lac, Jeff Peterson, Fond du Lac, Connie Fisher, Oakfield, David and Gary Peterson both of Fond du Lac, twelve grandchildren; Julie (Ricardo) Lerma, Jeremy (Jackie) Warner, Becky Steinke, Carrie Steinke, Andrew Muldoon, Matthew (Daria) Sonnenfeld, Brittany Sonnenfeld, Patrice Peterson, Patricia Peterson, Angel Brown, Jennifer Fisher, Jacob Fisher, seven great-grandchildren; Gabriel, Isabelle, Trevor, Kobe, Keenan, Madeline, Owen . Audrey is further survived by four sisters; Ida Laustad, LaCrosse, Arlene (Don) Jensen, Mt. Home, AK, Geraldine (Don) Mense, Rice Lake, Chuck (Marilyn) Johnson, Eagle Grove, IA, two brothers; Raymond Giere, Boyceville, Roger Giere, Las Vegas, NV, five sister-in-laws; Shirley (Aaron) Lee, Bloomer, Beverly Railton, Menomonie, Donna Peterson, Chippewa Falls, Esther Peterson, Galesville, Sandra (James) Webb, Eau Claire, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, a son in law, sisters, brothers, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend William Gruenstern officiating.
