August D. "The Dog" Martin

August D. "The Dog" Martin, 57, of 303 West Madison Street, Wautoma, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at his resident as a result of COPD. He was born September 25, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the son of August M. and Viola M. Foster Martin. August was an independent building contractor in Nebraska. He was a member of the Wautoma Eagles Club. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.SURVIVORS: his special friend, Lisa Kraebel, Wautoma; his children, Theresa Raschke, Fond du Lac, Anna Macleod, Fond du Lac, David (special friend, Jessica) Martin, Fond du Lac, Rachel (Chad) Boutin, Fond du Lac, Jaime (special friend, Dale) James, Waupaca, Terri (Jeff) Weichelt, Fond du Lac, Tom (Ashlie) Martin, Hudson, FL, John Martin, Fond du Lac; 20 grandchildren; one great grandson. He is further survived by his mother, Viola Martin, Neshkoro; brothers and sisters, Dennis Armstrong, Neshkoro, Dean (Mary) Martin, Neshkoro, Frank (Vicky) Martin, Fond du Lac, Dale Martin, Fond du Lac, Barbara (Dennis) Balcerzak, Fond du Lac, Julie Martin, Kingsford, MI, Rayne Lewis, Wautoma. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Russ; one sister, Lisa; many family and friends.



VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 11 AM "“ 2 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will take place at 2 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
