Barbara A. Damrau-Pflum, 85, of Manawa, WI, died Monday, June 27, 2022, at Manawa Community Living Center. She was born on July 13, 1936, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Miller) Pflum Sr. On October 20, 1973, she married Richard Damrau in Waukegan, IL. Barbara was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, crocheting, knitting, sewing, shopping, and watching the Packers.
Barbara is survived by six daughters, Pam (Dave) Peters, Deb (Jake Krueger) Retzlaff, Cynthia (Michael) Blumreich, Dawn Blumreich, Cheryl (Chris) Chitwood, and Melissa Damrau-Stephens; 12 grandchildren, Tammy Peters, Heather Karrow, Jason (Jen) Peters, Toni (Rene) Montez, Angela (Peter) Steinbach, Nicole Blumreich, Michael (Nicole) Blumreich, Jami (Scott) Johnson, Ashley (Adam) Janke, Morgan Chitwood, Jackson Chitwood, and Zackhery Damrau; many great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Lois) Pflum, Joseph (Chris) Pflum, and August (Marla) Pflum; sister, Cathy Guell; and special friend, Becky Nickolia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor; and husband, Richard.
The visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place with burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Tigerton, WI.
