Barbara J. Broder Knutson

Barbara J. Broder Knutson, age 67, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on April 30, 1944 in Ripon, WI, the daughter of the late Paul and Isabell (Reetz) Sina. Barbara was a giving and loving mother and a proud grandmother with a heart of gold who devoted much of her time to caring for her grandchildren. She asked little for herself and always put others first and never hesitated to help others. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, reading and crossword puzzles. Barbara was an avid card and bingo player with her friends at St. Peters place. Her quick smile, caring spirit and talkative nature will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.She is survived by her children, Anthony(Maria)Broder of Fond du Lac; Lucinda Broder of Manitowoc; Susan (special friend Sam Mullen)Broder of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Cassie, Josie, Zachary, Heydy, and Fanny; three great-grandchildren, Luis, Stephanie and Alex. She is also survived by a sister, Grace(Floyd)Schmitt of Brandon, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Frank Sina.



Visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac and a Memorial Service at 1:00 P.M followed by the urn placement at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum located at 686 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac.
