Beatrice M. Shea

BEATRICE M. " BEA" SHEABeatrice M. "Bea" Shea , 89 of 381 Patricia Ct. Carmel, IN and formerly of Fond du Lac died peacefully at her home on Sunday October 3, 2004. She was born on June 30, 1915 in the Town of Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Gwendolyn Pedix Ziegert. On June 12, 1937 she married Donald Shea at St. John's Church in Woodhull, WI. He preceded her in death in 1993. Bea was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Daughters of Isabella, Rosary Society and was longtime member of Homiston Homemakers. She was a 4-H leader for the Woodhull 4-H Club. She enjoyed working at the polls for elections and was an avid card player. She was a teacher at Ridge Road School for 3 years. She was a graduate of Rosendale High School and Oshkosh State Teachers College.Survivors include one son; Terry (Judy) Shea of Wooster, OH, two daughters; Maureen (Stan) Sippel of Carmel, IN, Mary (Dean) Sylla of Green Bay, 14 grandchildren; Pam Fath, Michael, Mark, and Ellen Shea, Julie Emerson, Lisa Pearson, Tony, Dan, Doug, and David Sippel, Ann Jones, Carolyn Moss, Laura and Michael Sylla, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, two sisters, Frances Greene and Fern Reilly, and numerous brother and sister in laws preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Shea will be held on Friday, October 8, 2004 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and on Saturday, October 9, 2004 from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
