Belva M. Maas

Mrs. Belva M. Maas, 94, of 501 N. Hickory Street, died Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at her residence. She was born July 8, 1911, in the Town of Morris, WI, the daughter of David E. Craw and Anna Hughes Craw Maybee. On January 29, 1933, she married Walter S. Smith in Antigo, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1956. She later married Henry A. Maas on May 29, 1959 in Wittenburg, WI. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1984. Mrs. Maas was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Louis Church.Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Eugene) Husnick of Fond du Lac, and Delores (Charles) Lindeen of White Bear Township, MN, three step-daughters, Lois Matel of West Allis, Carol Spear of Rothschild, WI, and Mary (Robert) Hartman of Sussex, WI, six grandchildren, Martha Husnick (Fiancé Travis Lockwood)of Osseo, WI, Marie Husnick and special friend (Gary Vanderwalker) of Custer, SD, Pat (Julie) Husnick of Waupun. Paul (Dyana) Husnick of Wisconsin Rapids, Andrew (Fiancé, Rebecca Bird) Husnick, and Deanna (Dan) Lemke all of Fond du Lac, 17 great-grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, and a brother, Bert Craw of Volcano, CA. Her parents, two husbands, two step-sons-in law, five sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death.



There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be at Antigo in The Queen of Peace Cemetery.Please attend a church of your choice in her memory. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.ueckerwitt.com
