Belva L. Mitwede

Belva L. Mitwede, 87, of Fond du Lac, died on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on September 18, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Mitchell) Mariani. Belva was a graduate of Waukesha High School. In June of 1991, she married David Mitwede. She was a member of Hope Lutheran and the Polka Club. Belva was a waitress for many years and also worked at Mercury Marine for 25 years, retiring in 1997. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, dancing, and dearly loving her dog, Rosie “Toot”. 

Belva and Debbie Krause were very close friends for many years. She will be deeply missed everyday. Belva also had many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gladys; husband, David; and son, Mike.

The visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM. Entombment will occur at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. 

Memorials may be directed to Debbi Krause to be donated in Belva’s name.
