Benjamin D. "Ben" Johnston

Benjamin D. “Ben” Johnston, 40, died Monday, January 3, 2022, in Oshkosh. He was born in Fond du Lac on October 2, 1981, to Dana and Maggie (Sawyer) Johnston.



Ben loved bass fishing, baseball, and football.



Survivors include his mother, Maggie (Russ) Wiesen; four siblings, Trish Forster, Becca Anger, Lea (Matt) Possehl, and Josh (Mary) Wiesen; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Sawyer; nine nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dave Sawyer, and an aunt, Rose Sawyer.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S. National Ave., in Fond du Lac with Pastor Dave Ogren officiating. Cremation has taken place.
