Berdie Rae R. Nett

Berdie Rae R. Nett, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born September 20, 1947 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Harold and Violetta (Buddenhagen) Beyer. On May 17, 1975 she married David D. Nett at Memorial Baptist Church in Fond du Lac. Berdie worked as an LPN for St. Agnes Hospital Maternity Unit where she loved taking care of the babies. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church and sang in the choir. Berdie was a foster parent to 52 children over the years. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and loved animals. She loved all children, especially her own and her grandchildren.



She is survived by her husband, David; three children, Stacey (Chad) Nett Lompre, Matthew (Sandra) Nett, and Mario (Makenna) Nett; four step children, Dwight (Sue) Nett, Doug Nett, Darcy (Dan) Zeleske, and Dana (Sue) Nett; grandchildren, Alexis, Ashleigh, Dominique, Hayleigh, Ryley, Quistis, Aunaleigh, Joshua, Isabella, Ariel, Kaylynn, Raelynn, Erica, Kristen, Ashley, Lindsey, Caley, Josh, Peyton, and Lexi; great grandchildren, Elle, William, Milo, Grace, and four more expected this fall; and sister-in-law, Lois Davies. She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Mary Nett; grandson, Derek Hernandez; and granddaughter, Kaira Nett.



The visitation will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 163 East 18th Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at church. Burial will be held in Rienzi Cemetery.
