Bernadette J. Sabel

Bernadette J. Sabel age 91 formerly of W7021 Cemetery Road, Van Dyne, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 14, 1917 the daughter of Arthur F. and Cecelia Hohensee Markow. On April 11, 1939 she married Alfred P. Sabel at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Alfred preceded her in death on January 26, 2004. She attended Fond du Lac High School. Since the early age of 9, she was involved in doing artwork for the Fond du Lac City schools as requested by the Supervisor of Art, Miss Lynn. A member of Presentation Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, North Fond du Lac, since her Marriage. Bernadette was also a member Fond du Lac Kennel Club, Fond du Lac Writers Club; and she was well known for her original plate paintings of member's pets.SURVIVORS: One brother-in-law, Harold H. Sabel, St. Peter, a cousin, nieces, nephews and friends, survives her. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Paul.



VISITATION: Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 9 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of The Word Service will held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Reverend John Simon officiating.
