Bernadette L. Ebert

Bernadette L. Ebert, 86, formerly of 383 Uneeda Street, died Friday, March 09, 2007, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for six years. She was born December 16, 1920, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Herbert E. and Mary E. (O'Loughlin) Uebel. On June 8, 1957, she married Arthur E. Ebert in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1983. Bernadette enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandsons, Wyatt, Dalton, "D.J., and Jesse James, the three loves of her life, word search puzzles, and gardening.Surviving are five daughters; Lois Kraus, Kay Kraus, Leona Ebert, Diana Ebert, and LaVerne "Dolly" (Patrick) Holzman, all of Fond du Lac, two sons; James Kraus of Alaska, and Kenneth (Jean) Kraus of San Jose, CA, two step-daughters; Marlene Ebert of Fond du Lac, and Karen Andryczk of Oakfield, a step-son, Glen (Karen) Ebert of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren, including Wyatt, Dalton "D.J.", and Jesse James. She is further survived by a sister, Helen (Ambrose) Braun of Taycheedah, a sister-in-law, LaVerne Uebel of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband Arthur and first husband, Clement Kraus, an infant daughter, Mary Ellen, and a brother, David Uebel, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Bernadette L. Ebert will be on Sunday, March 11, 2007, from 4 to 7 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial services will be on Monday, March 12, 2007, at 11 am at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
