Bernard M. Klumpyan, 83, of Fond du Lac died April 23, 2020 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born the son of Frank and Erna Klumpyan on September 12, 1936 in Lomira. He married Helen Dubis in Franklin, WI and had a son David Klumpyan. Bernard had always said when he was lost, David had found him answering all his prayers. Bernard had a love for gardening, musky fishing, eagles, helping people and the family and friends who cared for him in his old age. Bernard loved being a roofer because he loved to be outdoors.
Bernard is survived by a sister, Marlene (Norman) Hakala; three nieces, Lydia (Brian) Wilhelms, Jennifer Hakala, and Melissa Klumpyan (special friend, Shad Abitz); and a newphew Kyle Hakala (special friend, Cassie Higgins), followed by many great nephews and nieces. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Erna; his wife, Helen; precious son, David Klumpyan; three brothers. Marvin, Edward, and Melvin Klumpyan; and a sister Estalla Giese.
Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park (3301 E. Hill Ave Oak Creek, WI 53154) on May 16, 2020 at 1:30 P.M.
