Bernice M. Dill

Bernice M. Dill, age 84, formerly of Kiel, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born on February 1, 1928 in Washington County, the daughter of August and Theresa (Koch) Hoerth. On August 12, 1950 she married Robert W. Dill at St. Patrick's Church in Fond du Lac. In 1972 they moved to Kiel. While residing in Fond du Lac she worked at Infant Socks and at Wells Manufacturing. Bernice's favorite hobby was her garden and she kept everyone stocked with canned goods. She also enjoyed making Christmas cookies for her extended family. SURVIVORS: three children, Robin (Holly Timm) Dill of Sussex, Kenneth (Rose) Dill of Oshkosh, Cindy (Tim) Mathes of Kiel, eleven grandchildren, Jason (Valerie Borst) Dill, Adam (Mindy) Dill, Gina (Bret) Woolhether, Brooke (Ryan Scott) Dill, Darik Dill, Denise Dill, Danielle Dill, Eric Mathes, Cory Mathes, Kristin Mathes, six great-grandchildren, one daughter in law, Kathy Dill of Kiel, her only surviving sibling, her twin sister, Rina Powers of Mayville, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert on April 18, 2007, one son, David on December 30, 2001, and eleven siblings.
