BETTY E. CRAWFORDBetty E. Crawford, age 79, of 751 Mequon Ave, Fond du Lac, died Thursday, August 19, 2004 at her residence. She was born on September 3, 1924 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Clarence F. and Olive B. Smith Krueger. On November 11, 1950 she married Donald I. Crawford at St. Paul's Cathedral, Fond du Lac. She served with the United States Navy Waves from 1944 until 1946. She was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral and was also a member of the Lady Elks. She was an avid quilter and seamstress.SURVIVORS: her husband Donald of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Ann Wick and her son Daniel, Mary Guenther and her three children, Brandon, Arika, and Lyndie all of Fond du Lac, one brother, Arlyn C. "Pat" (Bernice) Krueger of Fond du Lac, one brother in law, Duane "Jack" (Eileen) Crawford of Rhinelander, two sisters in law, Joan Knipple of Fond du Lac, and Doris White of Normal, IL, special friend Sylvia Koch of Wausau, and other nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her parents in law Raymond and Mary Crawford.



VISITATION: Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday, August 23, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Paul's Cathedral with the Very Reverend Ted McConnell officiating. Friends may call on Monday at the Cathedral from 12:30 until the time of services. Burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside services.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed and loved forever.Memorials are appreciated to St. Paul's Cathedral.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
