Betty M. Hendricks

Betty M. Hendricks, 80, of North Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. She was born in Fond du Lac on May 16, 1944, to Arnold and Rosalie (Bennett) Beck. On September 16, 1961, she married Gerald Hendricks at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2020. 

Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and adored her dog, Theodore. She enjoyed boating, camping, and snowmobiling. Betty was a big Elvis fan and in recent years enjoyed attending Daniel O’Donnell and Bob Seger concerts. She worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Agnes Hospital for 12 years and then in the packaging department at Kondex Corporation for 22 years.

Survivors include four children, Sherry (Bruce) Smith, Mark Hendricks, David (Connie) Hendricks, and Jeff Hendricks (Susan Kelley); nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; niece, Connie (John) Schenk; and nephew, Hugh (Jackie) Hendricks. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, James; a granddaughter, Amanda; a great-grandson, Taylor; and her husband’s parents, William and Francis Hendricks. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, July 8, 2024, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial in Ledgeview Memorial Park will follow the service.
