Betty J. Bishop

Betty J. Bishop, 81, formerly of 211 Wilkins Street, died Monday, February 12, 2007, at Manor Care Nursing Home where she was a resident the past five years. She was born March 7, 1925, in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Mathew F. and Helen A. Guerndt Theis. On June 26, 1950, she married James C. Bishop in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1997. Mrs. Bishop was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was formerly employed by Rolling Meadows as a nurse's aid for over 20 years. Surviving is a brother, Ervin (Helen) Theis of Rosendale, a sister, Leila Vogds of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives of friends. Her parents, husband, four brothers, and four sisters preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Betty J. Bishop will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 15, at 9:30 am at the funeral home and Mass of Christian Burial services at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev.
