Betty J. Erke

BETTY J. ERKEBetty J. Roloff Erke, age 78, of 235 Winnebago St, North Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Royal Oak, MI the daughter of Elmer "Harry" and Ordelia Green Roloff. On April 13, 1946 she married Alvin H. Erke in Fond du Lac. Alvin preceded her in death on February 16, 1988. Betty worked at Infant Socks and Miles Kimball. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, canning, reading, driving through Lakeside Park and enjoyed watching her husband play baseball. She was very considerate of other people. SURVIVORS: two sons, Larry (Linda) Erke of North Fond du Lac, Alvin Jr. (Mary) Erke of Mayville, four daughters, Ordelia (William) Smith of Big Spring, TX, Connie (Joseph) Loehr of Van Dyne, Barbara (William) Olson of Fond du Lac, Julie (Daniel) Reichenberger of Van Dyne, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Nancy (James) Hills of Summerfield, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Arnold and Bob, and one great-grandson, Daniel Reichenberger Jr.



Private family visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Monzel officiating.
