Betty J. Stranckmeyer

Betty J. Stranckmeyer, 79, of 388 Winnebago Dr. died Friday, June 25, 2004 at Hospice Home of Hope. Betty was born January 30, 1925 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Robert and Bernice Miller Krug. On June 6, 1944 she married Jack Stranckmeyer, who preceded her in death. Betty retired form Ocean Spray Cranberry in Babcock, WI. She enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles, Senior Citizen Luncheons, and bus trips to Oneida Bingo and Casino.Survivors include two daughters; Angie (Kenneth) Prull of Fond du Lac, Lois Stranckmeyer of Appleton, two grandchildren, Scott (Christine) Kapp of Cushing, WI, Amy Jo Smolarek of Brandon, two great grandchildren; Noah and Cashton Kapp, three sisters; Marion (John) Fuller of Fond du Lac, Donna Dunn of Oshkosh, Kathleen Krug of Fort Pierce, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother.



Visitation for Mrs. Stranckmeyer will be held on Monday, June 28, 2004 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Estabrook Cemetery.Memorials in Mrs. Stranckmeyer's name may be directed to Agnesian Hospice.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
