Betty J. Vilski

BETTY J. VILSKIBetty J. Vilski, age 80, of Fond du Lac, was born to eternal life on Saturday, December 24, 2005 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on May 24, 1925 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Matthew J. and Mabel R. Buckstaff Corcoran. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. On July 6, 1946 she married Edward Vilski at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Betty was a member of Holy Family Parish and attended St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed keeping up with current events and she was a member of the "Apple Sisters," a group of girlfriends who have gotten together since high school to play cards. Betty was known as "Corky" by her oldest friends.SURVIVORS: three children, Miles (Kathleen) Vilski of Brookfield, WI, Beth Collins of Akron, OH, Laura (Scott) Holtz of Pewaukee, WI, five grandchildren, Brian (Chandra) Collins of Akron, OH, Becky Zager of Akron, OH, Robert (Marissa) Collins of Akron, OH, Brent (Kim) Collins of Reading, PA, and Sarah Holtz of Pewaukee, WI, brother Michael Corcoran, six great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward on December 29, 1991, two brothers Daniel and Ralph, one son-in-law Robert Collins, one great-grandson, Matthew.



VISITATION: Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church with the Reverend John Radetski officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
