Betty Mae Heise

Betty Mae (Prange) Heise, 85, of North Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born August 18, 1929, the daughter of Max and Lena Baumgart Prange. She graduated from North Fond du Lac High School where she and her husband were prom king and queen. On December 2, 1950, she married Arnold Adolph Heise at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Betty was a member of the civic chorus and quilting club. She loved to crochet and covered her family in afghans. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband, Arnold, two daughters, Carol (Peter) Ryan of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Janet (Phil) Dumas of Naperville, IL, and two granddaughters, Erin McHugh (Chase) Babcock of Santa Clara, CA, and Cara McHugh of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ronald Prange, and a sister, Joyce Sullivan.

Visitation for Betty Mae (Prange) Heise will be on Friday, December 26, 2014, from 10 AM to 12 PM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 12 PM on Friday at the church. The Revs. Thomas Behnke and Michael Kampman will officiate and burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
